  More Statistics - Even more to die at Armageddon!

  it comes up time and again in the wts literature and meetings just how jehovah is patient and loving by allowing this system to go on, thus allowing more people to be saved.. but, the figures dont add up.. i know that witnesses dont really believe that baptism is being born again, but on the other hand, it is implied that those who are not baptized are in danger at armageddon.

  this was brought out at this years dc, where young ones were urged to "seriously consider getting baptized".. .

  i am aware that figures can be made to say anything but in the table below, i have attempted to look at the difference between physical births and "spiritual" births, i.e.

  Well that doesn't agree with what I was taught!. Don't they teach that if you die before Armageddeon..you could be resurrected?

  Sounds contradictory to me. But what else could you expect from "that religion".

  I remember at my Mom's funeral..a witness came up and hugged my Dad and told him that he would see her again. I remember that left such an impression on dad. We all want to hear that when we lose a loved one! Of course I knew the truth!. Neither one of them liked the JW religion. They hated it. It took their daughter and grandchildren away from them for 12 years!.

  I also remember there was a time when they taught that if you were a loyal JW . You would save your unbelieving Mate and children . Im sure that has changed!

  They want those numbers to keep increasing..on paper!.

  Stockholders must be complaining!

  my email account has been hacked.

  anyone whom i email from the following account be warned that someone hacked the account and changed the password.

  i cannot close the account because yahoo requires the password to delete the account.

  Is that possible? One time I had someone send out E Mails and signed my name..Snoozy. Well they figured out a way to make it look like it was from me but they used 2 zero's instead of 2 O's to create the E mail account. They look very similar..but someone caught it when they posted on the board with my name.See the difference?...OO-00 one is skinner.SNOOZY and SN00ZY..Clever wasn't it..Then they made up their own pasword. Then they just signed my name the same way that I did. I assumed it was the same one that posted using my name that sent the E Mails out with my name.. He was very popular on the boards and got caught. Of course he just got his hand slapped.

  What ya gonna do! ....

  Did you know anybody named Joshua orJake B. They lived by the Watchtower Farm but I believe one or both went to Bethel? Their JW family entertained a lot of out of towners. Josh was the oldest. I heard he was disfellowshipped... but not sure of his status now.

  They were raised in NY. Dad owned a cab company ?

  Snowflakes and Death

  i live in southern california.

  it snows up in the mountains sometimes, but i really haven't seen a good snowfall for many years.

  i am visiting my sister in il soon and will probably see a lot of snow.. .

  Our Mother is in a coma :(

  karla and i came home for a quick shower and a change of clothes.

  we ask that you keep our mother and our family in your prayers.

  we posted a few weeks ago that our mother had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer and was given 6-18 months with chemo.

  Thank you all for your kind words. I didn't mean to hijack the thread...It 's just that I get emotional when it touches close to home!. I spent many 24 hour days in the hospital with my Mom and Dad and I know what they are going through. Especially if she is in intensive care. Visiting is limited and you just sit and worry the rest of the time.

  Concern for the parent that they are getting good care when you can't be with them. We had some very unpleasant things happen while my Dad was in intensive care. And later when my Mom was in the hospital.

  He contacted a staph infection and so did my Mom. (And many others)They were so sloppy there I reported them to the patient relations board. It is NOT run by the hospital . They are arbitrators between the hospital and patient (relatives). They look after the patients welfare!.

  It really helps to have family there too!

  It's awful to go through it alone!

  JW view of swearing on the bible?

  does anyone remember how they used to view this?..like in a court of law..when they have to put their hand on a bible and swear to tell the truth?.

  but the latest watchtower says it is a personal decision..yet they quote nothing but scriptures to support doing it!..i can't remember what they taught.

  Thanks Blues Brothers I really appreciate the time it took for you to look that up and post it!.

  Hubby is a inactive JW and I asked him if it was right or wrong..and he said wrong..he thinks. This was apparently the idea orthought they wanted to convey but not directly. The new Watchtower did say it was a conscience matter. More than less sugested it was OK to do so. Funny how they drop such "Little" hints!

  I remember them saying "A christian ALWAYS tells the truth"...
